Bad Breakups

Today is the wedding anniversary of one of my girlfriend's. She married 11/11/06 or was it 07? Eleven. Usually a fine number. But. She just filed for divorce last Friday so guess who gets to "celebrate" her anniversary with her? Me. And another one of our "Not-so-happily-married" friends who isn't filing or anything like that (she drinks a lot though). Bring out the BEER. Any brand will do. I prefer Guinni (yep, the plural word works for me). COCKTAILS. Anything Girlina will do nicely. HEAVY TEQUILA TONIGHT. With Limes, please. All alcoholic is invited, sans champagne (that's for really celebrating).

We do live in a CelebraNation though. We LOVE to celebrate. So thus we even "celebrate" the anniversary of relationships gone awry. Vaguely recall back when I was 30 years old a brownie party (NOT THAT KIND, LOL) at work celebrating my divorce to whats-his-name. Twas great fun and had my girlie girl friends at work raving over the brownies and me finally getting away from that ex of mine. Was a bad relationship.

A new word should be invented for Celebrating Ex-Anniversaries. Any ideas on this? Thoughts? ERGA? Erroneous Relationships Gone Awry?

Maybe even a new word should be invented for Celebrating the End of a Bad Relationship. For some it would be the End of an Era.

I should be GOOD at inventing said word and acronym. I've had my share of bad breakups and bad relationships!

More on this later. On my share of bad breakups and what this new word should be.

You are welcome to share YOUR bad breakup stories, the spicier and funnier the better. You are also welcome to share what you think this new word should be.
